With your input about what to do and where to go to, we can plan the most beautiful cycling route. If you don't have any particular ideas in mind, you can use one of our pre-arranged routes through the Netherlands. They cover distinctive areas and have their own atmosphere. You can also combine these routes and/or just use them to make up your mind about what to do and see.
We offer the itineraries, maps with the routes, information about highlighted spots along the way, and details on your accomodations for the night.

Bikes
Our bikes are designed for long travels with luggage. We offer local made "Mees trekking Bikes"(with 27 gears Shimano Deore/LX). All bikes have Schwalbe Marathon or Continental Top Touring 2000 tyres. Though not puncture proof, we made a 12.000 km tour through North Africa with these tyres without any problems!
The bicycles come with theft-insurance.

Luggage
Your bike can be outfitted with back and front panniers. Normally that will leave enough space for your clothing and other necessities. On request we can send you a packing list with all essential items to bring.
For the best protection of your luggage, we have panniers by Vaude or Ortlieb.

Camping gear
For cyclists who like to stay at campsites, we have a complete set of camping equipment for rent. This includes a lightweight tent, sleeping bag, mattress, stove etc.

Backup service
During your journey you can contact us for any additional information. Though highly unlikely, if you need technical assistance you can phone us at any time.

On request, we can book all your accommodations beforehand. We will inform you what to expect of each hotel or campsite we booked for you. You'll know exactly where to find your place for the night, the best possibilities for dinner and drinks in town and you will receive additional information about points of interest. You pay the hotel or campsite on arriving. LowlandsCycling does all the bookings for the best possible price in your name. We receive no commission.

Before or after your cycling trip we can take you on board of our teak wooden vessel, the Pollux, for a tour on the canals of Amsterdam. We consider this a free service for our guests.

Arrival	Transfer from your port of entry to our unique houseboat B&B in Amsterdam or any other hotel or campsite you like.
First full day	This day can be used to relax, to wander around the city of Amsterdam or to enjoy the canal tour with us. We provide you with all the gear and information you need for the trip. Itinerary, points of interest, technical instruction etc.
Cycling days	All your accomodations have been booked You'll have all the maps, itinerary and additional tourist information you need for the trip as well as 24 hour, every day back up for spare parts, extra information etc. You'll be provided with a cell phone to contact us when and where you want to.
Last night	You can cycle back into Amsterdam, or we'll pick you up somewhere in the Netherlands, to spend a last night in Amsterdam or any other place you'd like to go.
Last day	We will bring you to your port of exit anywhere in the Netherlands, say goodbye and hope that you and your friends will come to visit us again.
